Participant Media is discontinuing the Pivot TV network effective October 31, 2016. The company has decided to end the cable network and focus its resources on producing content on other media platforms. According to The Wrap, Participant Media said in a prepared statement that it would be “focusing its efforts and investments behind content creation and social impact, and exiting the business of owning and operating its TV cable network, Pivot.” After October 31, 2016, Pivot TV will no longer be available through television providers.
